While the Press and American public have been fixated on the economy and the government's handling of it, new rumors are again surfacing that the government is being run by a secret "shadow government" operating somewhere inside, of all places, the government. This rumor which was pervasive during the Bush Presidency and was thought to be a cabal of Dick Cheney and other neocons who operated secretly with the CIA and other agencies.
